| My Client is a spe****t in servicing and repairing diesel and gas power generators.
The currently have a requirement for a UK Sales Engineer (generator sales) within their service department.
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Service Sales Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for securing sufficient business for the department that will meet all agreed set targets for the sale of Generators within the UK at agreed gross margins. You will be required to visit clients and will therefore spend time out of the office, potentially away from home for short periods and working from home if required.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The solicitation of opportunities to provide company products and services into the agreed markets within the UK.
Conversion of opportunities into sales at agreed gross margins.
Ensure adequate information in line with system is provided to ensure the orders taken can be converted into a clear works order.
To determine the market requirements relating to company products and services.
Maintaining sales reports that analyse the Generator Sales current position at the end of each month.
Meeting the targets set as the annual sales target for Generator Sales as a part of the Service Department total.
To determine the new financial year sales budget for the generator sale on run up to year end.
To manage the accounts to produce profitability and ensure time is managed efficiently
Maintain adequate records of all transactions with customers and potential customers
Be responsible for ensuring working practices comply with the quality procedures and Health & Safety rules determined by the company on an ongoing base and as the business requires.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience within the generator/UPS industry is essential.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
You will report on a day to day basis to Service Sales Manager, report to the whole sales team via the sales meeting on a monthly basis and to Director General Manager as required.
Salary - £25k - £30k + bonus + Car + laptop + mobile
