| My Client provides consultancy and maintenance services to a vast cross-section of engines ranging from small generators to massive crude oil-fired gas turbine plants. They have built up a reputation within the industry for trouble shooting and problem solving and can give you an accurate assessment of any problem and detailed advice on how to fix it.
They are currently looking for a skilled service engineer to cover the South West & Hampshire areas to service and maintain a comprehensive range of generator and emergency power supply equipment.
Main Responsibility: Service equipment and support of company plant & equipment.
Main Tasks:
Routine Service
Major Overhaul
Routine service of plant
Control of spares support
Attending to breakdowns/repairs.
Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Skills
Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
Logical fault finding.
Ability to work under a low level of supervision.
Ability to work under own initiative.
Requirements
Apprenticeship served electrical engineer with mechanical experience, or vice versa generator servicing and fault finding.
High voltage applications.
Strong electrical bias with mechanical experience or vice versa.
Salary £25K
