They currently have a requirement for a service engineer based from their site in Stoke on Trent.
They provides spe****t services in the following areas: -
# Offshore Power Generation Plant
# Unmanned Platform Extended Running Generating Sets
# Automatic Mains Failure Generating Plant
# Diesel & Gas Power Packages
# Offshore & Onshore Refurbishment
# Control Systems
# Diesel & Gas Engine Overhauls
# Spe****t Services to Medium Speed Engine Users
# Maintenance Contracts
# Full After Sales Service & Parts Supply & Management
They are looking for an experienced service engineer with an excellent background in Diesel & Gas Engines.
The role will involve servicing and repairs to a wide variety of gas/diesel powered generator packages (FG Wilson, Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, Deutz) including generator switchgear and control systems.
The preferred candidate will be multi-skilled with an electrical bias as most modern generators operate with sophisticated control systems, though all other candidates will be considered based on qualifications and experience.
The role requires excellent diagnostic skills and a practical demonstration may be requested at the interview.
