| My Client is a a spe****t supplying Optoelectronic Components into the Electronic Manufacturing industry - LED & LCD products.
They currently have a requirement for a field sales rep to cover the midlands - covering the counties of (Staffs, Worcs, Warks, Leics, Notts and Northamptonshire).
The basic salary range could be anywhere between £20K & £30K, and there is commision on top as well. They pay commision at 1% of everything that is sold in the area, and the area is more than capable of generating £1M+ of sales..........although it is currently only running at c£300K.
You must have a proven sales track record within Electronic Component Distribution.
The role will involve looking after and growing the business within existing customers, as well as targeting new customers. My Client is only "business to business", and deals with customers from small design houses to multi-national groups. The ideal cadidate would have to be comfortable dealing with people from design engineers all the way through to purchasing.
It would be highly desirable if you has some product experience of LEDs and LCDs but full training will be given to the right candidate.
