| Electro Mechanical – Materials Testing Equipment Engineer – South West
My client manufacture and service materials testing instruments, systems, and accessories, providing comprehensive solutions for research, quality, and service-life testing requirements. There machines evaluate the mechanical properties of materials and components using tension, compression, flexure, fatigue, impact, torsion and hardness tests.
We currently have a requirement for a field service engineer to be based near Swindon, Bristol or Newport.
The role
You will be responsible for providing after sales and warranty service including installations, breakdowns, contract servicing, calibration and customer training for our wide range of servo-hydraulic and electro-mechanical products.
Requirements
You must hold an HNC in Electronics (or equivalent experience) together with at least 5 years experience of field-based maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic instrumentation of other similar equipment down to component level. A full clean driving license is required.

Circa £24k (dependent on qualifications and experience)
