Diesel Pumps & Injectors
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Leadership of all projects, both revenue and internal R&D, facilitating completion and sign-off
- Day-to-day leadership & responsibility for a Project Assistant
- Working as the lead of, as well as part of, the various Project teams
- To ensure the companies Project management process is adhered to, and opportunities to improve it are identified, evaluated and implemented where applicable
- Attend formal project reviews
- Key performance areas:-
- Projects delivered on-time &, quality and within budget
- Reports generated are accurate and timely
- Projects delivered to customer requirements
- Reporting to the General Manager, but with dotted line responsibility to the Engineering Manager
Personal Attributes
- Must have Project Management experience within Diesel pumps and injectors
- Excellent communicator
- Customer focused
- Strengths in motivating and influencing suppliers & customers, at all levels, both internal & external to the company
- Ability to work in a methodical and timely manner with high accuracy levels, and to strict due dates
- Ability to work as part of a team, and contribute effectively to the overall business environment
- An appreciation of, and the ability to interpret, engineering technical drawings
- Flexibility as some travel to customer sites, including overseas, may be required
- PC literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, and in particular MS Project
