| My client are a leading manufacturer Bespoke Pump Packages for the Oil, Gas, Water Extraction, Power Generation and Petro-Chemical Industries.
The head of tendering (a long serving employee) is set to retire in the next 18 months. I have been asked to source a technical sales spe****t to work alongside him and then fully take over when he retires.
The team operating out of the South West office have been together for years and have lots of technical and industry related experience. You will ideally have pump industry experience and proven technical sales skills. In return you can expect a basic salary of beween 30 and 40k, with all the usual benefits, and the opportunity to join a well respected professional and friendly outfit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; the co-ordinating and support of Sales and Tendering to ensure Project Launch is completed in a professional and timely manner. To manage timely completion of Project kick-off meetings, accurate completion of Order Engineering Data and Pre-Calc information and accurate and meaningful distribution of all relevant project information. To take a lead role in developing and maintaining interface with key in-house functions to drive all aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Manufacture including the timely completion of all project milestones ensuring Project deliveries are both on time and within budget, whilst managing the provision of information and feedback to all supporting functions.
Further expectations are the building and maintenance of strong relationships with both customers and suppliers thereby reducing the commercial risk to the company and maximising currant and future business opportunities.
