| My Client is a leading provider of services, engineering and equipment for industrial water and wastewater treatment.
They currently have a requirement for a Process Engineer.
You will take a lead role in the support of project sales, development, design and detailed modelling of the drainage and fire water main at the site. The position will include further support for other projects and process development for a wide range of industries. The ability to offer a hands on approach to problem solving will be required as many installations and projects could be related to failing systems or where systems need to be upgraded.
The role will also require carrying out risk assessments, proposing effluent treatment plant process improvements and providing support to the biodiesel project.
Experience & knowledge required:
•You must have an understanding of all types of process water treatment technology and be familiar enough with the processes involved to understand and fault find on existing plant.
•You should also be familiar enough with basic design to be able to vet contractor designs, write specifications and check calculations.
•Experience and capability is more important than the demonstration of academic ability.
•You should have a general knowledge of chemical engineering as applied to process water treatment including steam generation, microelectronics and food production in particular.
