| My Client develops, manufactures and globally markets progressive cavity pumps.
They currently have a requirement for a sales engineer to join the sales team in Ireland.
Position: After Sales, Sales Engineer
Main Purpose of Job:
To generate the maximum amount of profitable (After Sales) sales through the achievement of sales targets and by making new and existing customers aware of the company's after sales offer and broader product range.
Main Responsiblities:
1.
Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
2.
Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers through telesales and face-to-face sales meetings together with actively following up quotations to close the sale.
3.
Provide technical support for the companies range of products which will include both new pump sales and aftersales queries.
4.
Monitor and manage customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is maximised, provide account management support to the Pumps Sales team relating to customer spare part spend in order to identify business short falls and opportunities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The job requires:
- qualification to HND level or equivalent
- MUST HAVE at least 2 year's proven sales experience within the pumps industry including face-to-face meetings, telesales and appointment setting
- evidence of product/service (solution selling)
- evidence of mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment
- thorough knowledge of company products - dosing pumps, submersible pumps, cavity pumps.
- market awareness
