| My Client is a young, dynamic manufacturing company spe****ing in providing process analytical instrumentation to the worldwide process industries.
Their main markets are the oil and gas sectors, with particular emphasis on the refinery business. In addition to manufacturing process analysers and to ensure the proper installation of their analysers, they also design and manufacture sample conditioning systems and analyser shelters.
The manufacturing facility is located in Wiltshire.
They currently have a requirement for an Sales Office Manager.
Qualifications:BSc or HNC (in a scientific discipline) plus 5 years experience in process analytical instrumentation.
Duties:
Responsible for all sales office activities, including:
-Evaluating customers enquiries
-Preparation of quotations for standard products
-Evaluating and commenting on customers terms and conditions
-Costing of systems enquiries and liaising with engineering department for design and cost approval.
-Preparation of quotations for system projects
-Producing CAD drawings for specially designed systems
-Management of staff
-Receiving, reviewing and handing over clearly defined orders to Contracts Dept.
-Work within budgets for sales dept set annually
-Attend sales meetings
Skills:
Detailed knowledge of process analysers and systems
Understanding of basic chemical engineering
An ordered analytical mind
Good communication skills
Self motivated
Ability to manage staff and work as a team member
Working knowledge of AutoCAD ESSENTIAL.
