| My Client is a part of a multi-million pound global organisation spe****ing in industrial Instrumentation and Control - temperature and pressure measurement & control.
They currently have a requirement for a regional sales engineer to cover the North East & Scotland.
•Academic qualifications – HNC minimum in Electronic Engineering or Control & Instrumentation or proven experience in this field
•Sales role is predominately focused upon new business development and finding & winning new customers. There will be account management of existing customers and some after sales product and customer support.
•The position is home based and the candidate must be capable of planning and organizing their own workload. Appropriate levels of visit reporting will be necessary.
•Ideally candidates will already be selling technical products in the target area & will know the typical customers my client would be targeting e.g. OEM's, engineering contractors, spe****t installers, large processing plants such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, water & waste water plant etc.
•Ideally the candidate will have sold or have knowledge of typical control & Instrumentation products. My client focuses primarily on temperature and pressure sensors, process controllers, process recorders, thermostats, analytical sensors (PH, O2, Redox, etc) and transmitters. Competitors would be such companies as Eurotherm, West, ABB, Honeywell, Roxspur, CAL, Vega, Wika, Tempcon, Druck, Labfacility, H&B Sensors etc.
•Remuneration - £25,000 p.a. plus commission (estimate £3,000 p.a. performance related), VW Passat, Laptop, Mobile Phone, Pension after 6 months service – 10% contribution by company, 5% contribution by individual.
•23 days annual holiday
•Product training on site & planned training in Germany
