| My Client offers total computer solutions based on market leading Accounting Software Solutions.
They currently have a requirement for a Sales Exec to cover the South West.
You will identify potential sales opportunities and to develop those opportunities into profitable engagements. You will work within the Sales Department to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and hence provided with a quality and timely solution as per their expectations.
Your main responsibilities will be:
•Meet and exceed targets in new business sales.
•Creation of leads by various means ie: Direct Mail, Seminars, Tele-Canvassing, etc.
•Demonstration and Presentation of the Pegasus and Sage Accounting Software to potential customers.
•Develop relationships with customers from various markets in order to secure a robust pipeline of revenue.
•Secure new business within the customer accounts selling the complete range of professional services by identifying new projects.
•Manage projects
•To manage, enhance and build effect relationships with new clients.
•Use a consultative approach to sell at board level as well as at project management level.
•Preparation of quality proposals and quotations.
Requirements:
You must have experience in selling Accounting Software solutions.
•A minimum of 2 years experience in selling PC based accounting software solutions.
•Track record in successfully achieving revenue targets.
•Proven territory and account planning skills
•Strong pitching and presentation skills.
•Exhibit sufficient commercial acumen, credibility and presence to enable effective relationship building, influencing and instilling confidence at a senior level.
•Proven ability at selling at board level as well as project management level.
Desirable:
•Experience of selling accounting software linked point of sale solutions.
•Formal sales training.
•Knowledge of Bookkeeping / Accounting procedures.
•A strong academic background.
