My Client develops and provides Business Process Management (BPM) Solutions to the global business community. With client names including BP Amoco, Rolls-Royce, NASDAQ and HSBC, my client is regarded as a market-leading BPM vendor and as such is rapidly expanding to meet the client-led demand for its solutions. The company distributes their solutions through a global network of accredited Value-Added-Resellers (VARs), Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) and Distribution partners and is respected by leading analysts as a major contributor to the development of the £500 Billion BPM software industry. Package: 30-40k Basic Depending on Experience (OTE 80k) Pension + Benefits Location: Based at their North of England office. Travel: The North of England Description: Due to year-on-year growth, my client is looking to recruit a proven and talented IT sales professional that is looking to make the next step in their career. With relationships with leading VAR's, OEM and Distribution partners already in place, you will be working with an organisation that has consistently exceeded its sales objectives. As an account manager, you will be responsible for developing both new and existing channel partner accounts and play a pivotal role within the company's direct sales operation. You will need to be very strong at building and maintaining relationships as the role will require close working with customers, channel partners and internal support services. You will have a track record in BPM, ERP or CRM software sales to the SME sector. Responsibilities: - To achieve agreed targets though both channel and direct sales activities - Recruit new channel partners in vertical market areas in which 100% coverage has not yet been achieved. - Attend and support channel partner seminars and exhibitions. - Effectively communicate the technical aspects of company products with partners and customers and demonstrate the significant commercial value of Business Process Management (BPM) solutions. - Devise and manage partner development plans. - Provide reports on a monthly basis to the Sales Director identifying personal targets, actions and success directly attributed to the activities conducted. - Communicate clearly and effectively with the marketing team to plan and execute both partner and direct sales lead generation campaigns. - To work with and assist in the direction of the company's internal account management team.
