Northern Area Sales Engineer Area: Northern England & Scotland (Generally N.Lincs / S.Yorks / Manchester / Liverpool and above) My Client is a manufacturer of positive displacement pumps and fluid-handling equipment. They currently have a requirement for an Area Sales Engineer. The role: Reporting to the UK Industrial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales into both the Water Industry and Industrial market sectors. This will involve existing client accounts, and the development of new business opportunities within the given area. core products are: 1.cavity pumps 2.peristaltic pumps 3.chemical dosing systems Key responsibilities of the Sales Engineer will include: 1.Following up of quotations with existing clients. 2.Meeting with clients at office or site based locations. 3.Providing technical assistance and solutions solving. 4.Generation of new sales leads. 5.Reporting of competitor activity within market place. 6.Negotiating of contracts and securing orders. Industrial Business Development: Development of new business into all industrial sectors including water, chemical, marine, paper, petro-chem and engineering houses. Framework Management to Water Utilities: The development and maximisation of sales for Pump Frameworks. The management of the Frameworks will include site surveys, KPI performance monitoring for the respective utility company, day-to-day sales activity and full sales responsibility from initial tender stage, through to contract award and progression to the After Sales market. This is a key responsibility and being successful in this new area is seen as a significant step in career development. Safeguarding and growth of Spares business: The identification and targeting of existing accounts, safeguarding spares business. T My Client will provide a comprehensive list of existing key water sites, together with key Industrial sites within the territory. Support: A highly motivated and dedicated professional, you will receive sales support from their regional office. All quotations and tenders will be initially handled from the UK office. Full product training will be provided at their offices and factories in the UK and France. Career progression This is an extremely valuable and exciting position being made available within the UK.
