| My Client provides diesel and gas powered generators and generator services in the UK. They spe****e in generator service and repair, generator installation and projects, and generator and load bank hire.
They currently have a requirement for a Sales Manger (After Market).
The requirement is to manage all after market activities for the company in a customer-facing role, focusing specifically on winning business in the company's services:
•Diesel and gas generator maintenance & repair
•Generator Spare parts sales
•Fire pump service, repair and replacement
•Hire – generators and load banks
The person will be expected to win new business in order to meet the company's growth aspirations, and also maintain existing business (Currently £3 million). The role is UK-based and covers the whole country.
Responsibilities
•Identify potential customers and actively seek and win new business ensuring the company grows its turnover.
•Build relationships with existing customers and ensure their business is retained
•Manage sales administration team
•Developing one-to-one relationships with key personnel in the customer base
•Ensure the Company becomes preferred supplier for supply with new and existing customers
•Routine sales and sales support work
•Submitting quotations to customers with regular follow-up
•Ensuring all sales achieved are completed to the customer's satisfaction
•Pro-actively managing and building relationships with the supply base, continually seeking better prices and delivery options
•Resolving customer complaints
•Support to engineering and warehouse teams as appropriate.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ideally you will have sales experience within the generator/ups industry.
