| Area Sales Engineer/Manager – UPS/Switchgear/Power Electronics
Salary: 28-35k basic + bonus + car + benefits
Our client is one of Europe's leading suppliers of Power Protection products which serve a wide variety of needs across all market sectors.
Due to organic growth, they are currently looking for a dynamic and focused Area Sales Engineer/Manager
Home based (location negotiable but ideally Home Counties) the role will cover the South East.
The Role
An exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Engineer/Manager has become available. The role will complement the existing sales group's other project related activities by taking responsibility for the selling of the Company's core range of Switchgear and UPS products. This will build upon relationships with end users, M&E contractors/consultants and facilities management companies.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-A sales track record with experience in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), switchgear, generators, power transformers, electric motors, inverters/converters (in other words broadly power electronics) or lighting systems sector would be a distinct advantage
-You will be dynamic and target driven
-You will have gained an electrical and/or electronic further/higher education qualification and possess or have the potential to demonstrate commercial and technical awareness.
-Additionally, a solutions based analytical thinker and be able to display sales & marketing skills/understanding.
-As well as experience in a technical product sales environment ideally you will have product applications, project management and service solution competence.
- Ability to deal at all levels and engage the sales team/organisation is essential.
