| Business Development Manager – e-learning/LMS solutions
Location: Home-based – UK
Remuneration: 35-40k basic, OTE 80k (uncapped)
Job Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced software Sales Executive to join a dynamic team selling e-learning systems and solutions.
Focusing across the UK in a new business and account management role, the successful candidate will be commercially aware, highly motivated to succeed and have the ability to work on their own initiative and within a team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
•At least 3 years experience selling in the IT learning/eLearning sector using a consultative approach (the role is approximately 80/20 new business/account management)
• Strong direct sales experience selling into large corporate, SME and public sector accounts in a new business capacity
•Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communicator at all levels
•Entrepreneurial approach with demonstrable examples in career to date
•Ability to operate successfully within a virtual team environment , communicating constructively and working collaboratively with colleagues throughout the organisation
•Write quality winning proposals / presentations
•Generate, communicate and monitor sales opportunities
•Manage and maintain an up to date pipeline of sales opportunities
•Able to add value through existing contacts/network
Qualifications & Notes:
•Successful career to date with a record of over achievement in selling software solutions to meet customer's business requirements
•Good educational achievement with some recognised formal sales training
•PC Literate with a good understanding of MS Office, PowerPoint & Outlook
•Full UK driving licence
•You will be flexible, creative, very organised with a “can do” attitude and capable of working on your own initiative with minimal supervision or administrative support.
