They currently have a requirement for a Sales Engineer to cover the Southern region of the UK.
Job description:
To maximise the sales, profitability and exposure of the Portable Air business across the Southern area of the United Kingdom by promoting the “total solutions concept” of sales and service to new and existing Generator customers and distributors, in accordance with agreed business plans.
In the job of Generator Sales Engineer it is your mission to lead and support the development of Generator accounts in the Southern region of United Kingdom.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact
towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially
managing personal time and productivity.
- Undertake proposals, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve sales.
- Map generator accounts to provide in depth management information to support a detailed
business plan and to continue the penetration into this market place.
- It will be an important part of your role to coordinate and support existing Generator
Accounts along with being able to negotiate at senior level and promote the total solutions
concept of the company.
- Develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the area
and ensure an excellent standard of after sales support is provided.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions
and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service,
business growth, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and deliver presentations to enhance company image and increase sales
The following requirements are essential:
- Proven sales experience within generator sales.
- Good standard of knowledge of Key Account Management
- Must be adept in use of MS 2000 or later.
- Currently working within the generator industry.
- Experience of sales territory management.
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes databases.
Educational requirements
The following requirements are essential:
- HNC/ONC qualification in Engineering
- Good standard of knowledge of the generator industry
Personality/Personal situation requirements
The following requirements are essential:
- Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
- Able to get on with others and be a team player.
- Clean driving licence.
