My Client is one of the world's leading learning solution providers. They currently have a requirement for a Sales Manager. Purpose of the role: Organise, motivate and lead the Learning Technology Sales Team to ensure annual sales targets are achieved or exceeded. Also to provide strategic direction to the development of new and existing major accounts. Working with the Director of Learning Technologies to continually improve and develop services offered. Responsibilities: Work with the LT Director to formulate a winning Sales strategy and business model that attracts new clients and builds brand loyalty Set individual and team Sales Targets and Commission Schemes, to incentivise and reward achievement of the annual business plan Work closely with the LT Director and Marketing Manager to plan and execute successful Sales & Marketing campaigns Ensure Strategic Account Plans are developed by the account managers for LT ' top 6 clients (at a minimum), providing advice and guidance in the planning process Ensure all proposals are commercially sound and enhance the brand through high quality, both in terms of content and presentation Provide accurate, weekly Sales forecast, order intake and activity reports to the LT Director Provide coaching and mentorship to the LT Sales team, to improve performance and quality of work Ensure each direct report has a monthly 1:1, an annual performance appraisal and a training & development plan, or as directed by company HR processes and Employment Law Critical Skills required: Leads, organises and manages a team to meet targets Thinks and plans strategically Proven skills in selling large-scale e-learning/learning software Networks effectively at all levels Coaches and mentors team Critical Knowledge required: Solution Sales Cycle and best practice approaches 21st century Marketing techniques Learning Technology products and services Learning Technologies marketplace and major competitors Application and value of Learning methods and technologies Qualifications Required: Essential: Honours degree or equivalent Structured sales training with learning log and documented successes Desirable: Formal leadership & management development programme completed Experience Required: Essential: 5 years+ learning solution sales experience in both strategic account management and new business development 2 years+ in a supervisory or manager role Analysis of sales data to investigate and report trends Desirable: Board level (or equivalent) direct report Led major account team Personal Qualities: Essential: Quickly builds rapport and trust Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing Influential and motivational Creative For further vacancies please visit our website. hammondrecruitmentdotcom If you believe you have the right experience and qualifications please forward your CV If this position is NOT right for you, still forward you're CV.
