| My Client is a UK based Sensor Technology Company and exports the majority of its sales, its growth and margins are market leading in the Gas Detection Markets.
Position Overview:
This position is entirely dedicated to the growth of European sales, for which the primary responsibilities are:
•Follow existing leads and exceed sales objectives.
•Establish new leads, grow the sales pipeline, implement strategies of increased market penetration that meet short and long-term business objectives.
•Interact with Sales & Marketing, Technical product manager and applications spe****ts in the promotion of existing products and the development of new products
•Maintain an up-to-date records of prospects, leads, customers and commercial activities in Europe
•Develop and/or enhance sales policies, pricing, training, direct Product Management to produce reliable sales forecast
•Design and implement effective internal processes that enhance customer satisfaction and the sales process
•Monitor and support strategic sales plan in Europe to insure revenue objectives are achieved (including dealing with agents and/or distributors if need be).

In a more specific way, my Client is looking for someone with the following qualifications:
•A successful 3 to 5 years professional experience in technical sales. Must be cognisant of Gas Detector concepts and terminology.
•Knowledge and clear understanding of the Gas Detector market.
•Fluency in German and possibly French with English as a mother tongue.
•Strong organisational skills and easy interactions with a team.
•Dynamic and organised, the candidate's communications skills are essential.
•A proven track record of achieved or surpassed sales objectives.
Work Place:
Near Harlow in Es****. Frequent trips within UK/Europe are an essential part of the mission.
Salary:
According to experience, with a strong commission based variable part. Depending on your sales performance, this position should enable you to be among the most highly paid individuals in the company. After an initial period there is the potential to join a Stock Option scheme.
