The role available is working for a charitable organisation as an Conference and Events Manager paying £24,000-£27,000 with excellent benefits like clothing allowance, bonus as well as pension and overtime paid in lieu.
The role is to look after all of the Conferencing rooms and make sure all the events run smoothly as well as trying to expand the usage of the rooms and marketing the conferencing facilities to the public to expand the business and bring in new clients. The rooms a very luxurious and have a character of their own with a story to tell which really helps you promoting them. You will be looking after corporate and charity events ranging from a small meeting to a seminar to even a wedding, so it is really exciting because everyday is different.
Within this role, personality really does count, if you have knowledge within events and conferencing this would be very beneficial and also knowledge of managing a team would be a big advantage as you will be managing 2 events coordinators as well as handyman and cleaner.
