| Commissioning Engineer- Motherwell Scotland £23-25K
My client are a world leader in building management controls they install, integrate and maintain the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy-efficient.
We currently have a requirement for a commissioning engineer based out of our Motherwell offices.
Responsible for the development and commissioning of Control Software to meet agreed specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
•Assist and produce project proposals.
•Review software requirements for specific projects.
•Produce functional design specifications.
•Produce software designs as required to meet functional design specification.
•Produce system database, graphic displays and reports etc.
•Produce test specifications.
•Test software.
•Commission software applications on site.
•Work with project engineers to produce project documentation including drawings, schematics and operation and maintenance manuals etc.
•Track software development status and report on a regular basis.
•Initiate change control to ensure that management is aware of all possible changes in software scope.
•Comply with quality assurance standards.
•Complete software development and handover to clients/service.
•Ensure project close out.
•Ensure status and report on a regular basis.
•Relevant experience in commissioning process and start ups
•HVAC controls
•Experience in a Service Environment
•Relevant technical qualification ie HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
•Knowledge of office software applications e.g. word, excel etc.
