| Electrical Engineer – S****horpe £22k-£24k
My client are a world leader in building management controls they install, integrate and maintain the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy-efficient.
We currently have a requirement for an Electrical Engineer based in S****horpe.
Duties are to include the installation, testing and inspection and commissioning of a wide range of electrical projects including small power and lighting, mains distribution equipment, telecoms and data, security and CCTV, fire alarms, building controls, refrigeration controls and energy controls.
Key abilities:
•Be able to carry out electrical installations to a high standard in accordance with the relevant specifications and regulations
•Be able to carry out testing and inspection of own work
•Be able to carry out period inspection and testing in a wide range of environments
•Be able to fault find in a wide range of environments and installations
•Be able to work as part of a team or using own initiative
•Be able to understand technical drawings and information
•Experience of control panels and control systems desirable
•Refrigeration experience desirable
•Experience of installation and setting up of variable speed drives desirable
•Must have a flexible approach to work and be willing to travel and stay away from home
The successful candidate will:
•Have an industry recognized time served apprenticeship qualification(C&G 236 or similar)
•Be 16th Edition qualified (preferably 17th Edition)
•Have C&G 2391 desirable
•ONC or equivalent desirable (electrical discipline)
•Be totally flexible in all electrical type work
•Be able to work on their own initiative
•Have good communication skills
•Have a current full driving license
