| My Client spe****es in the manufacture and maintenance of gas turbine engines for the aerospace industry.
They currently have a requirement for a Test Support Engineer to work as part of their Engineering Services Team.
Duties include:
· Manage / Complete the maintenance, calibration and development of company test facilities
· Manage / Support the design, development and commissioning of new equipment
· Coordination of maintenance and calibration for shop floor equipment, including coordination of external contractors and subcontractors
· Provide technical training and support to hydraulic and fuel test bench operators and testers
· Provide spe****t technical support to resolve problems with test rigs, non-routine product test issues and shop floor plant and equipment
The ideal candidate will:
· Be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with at least 5 years experience within an aerospace environment
· Have a thorough understanding of gas turbines, calibration, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic processes and systems
· Be able to communicate clearly at all levels
· Possess excellent analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills
· Be willing to travel occasionally for training/updating purposes
· Have good IT skills, ideally with experience of AutoCAD
Package: Salary = mid to late 20's, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension.
