| My client are a leading international cranes and materials handling company - well known nationally and internationally.
I am working with their head of HR and 3 regional service managers to source professional crane engineers in 3 regions; Kent/South East (2), The South West, and the North West.
There has been a retirement in Kent resulting in the need for 2 engineers there. The vacancies have come about for a mixture of reasons - new contracts being won, internal promotion, and an engineer taking a year off to travel. Whichever region you apply for you have the opportunity to join an existing team and help solve the regional managers' current head ache of comfortably delivering 1st class service without the ideal number of field engineers.
Ideally you will be experienced with working with cranes already and able to slip into the role with ease- however skilled mechanical or electrical engineers can still apply and will be considered for the role - the company has a well established training scheme to ensure the highest standards for their customers.
You will operate a service route working alone and sometimes with other local engineers on call outs, maintenance and repair work. The company offers plenty of overtime - should you wish to work it. Many of the engineers have worked for the company for 5 - 10 years and longer, and this is believed to be in part due to the friendly, well organised feel to the way things are run.
