| Field Service Representatives – Mechanical and Controls Positions
Excellent Basic Salary (depending on experience) + offshore allowances (circa 40-55k)
Location: Home Based, work is through EMEA region with some Asia Pacific/US work a possibility
Our client is a leader in the development and manufacture of Turbo, Reciprocating, and Steam products which are utilised for onshore and offshore applications in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries, worldwide. In support of these products they are looking to extend and strengthen their Field Service Support team administered out of the regional UK Office. They are therefore seeking additional permanent Field Service Representatives, based from home, meeting the following criteria:
Mechanical Representatives
•Qualified to HND level with relevant experience working in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industries
•Experience of Installing and Commissioning Turbo and/or Reciprocating machinery such as Gas/Steam Turbine, Gas Engines, Compressors etc
•Experience in identification and rectification of mechanical machinery problems
•Experience in stripping down mechanical assemblies into component parts, and rebuilding using best industry practices
•Experience with Dry Gas Seals.
Controls Representatives
•Qualified to HND level with relevant experience working in the Oil & Gas & Petrochemical Industries.
•Experience of Installing and Commissioning Control systems based on Cost Off The Shelf architecture such as GE Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley and Triconnex.
•Experience with HMI applications.
•Experience in fault finding and diagnosis of problems associated with the above systems.
•Experience in fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical problems utilising the control system to aid identification of faults.
•Experience with Instrumentation devices commonly used in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries
Both positions require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good commercial awareness, and a satisfactory level of computer literacy. A spontaneous, versatile and flexible approach to travel worldwide, sometimes at short notice and for extended durations, is also required.
